12) We want to find the magnitude of the acceleration of the object during interval B. To find acceleration, we would take the slope, or the derivative, of the graph of speed. It is okay to use the speed graph rather than the velocity graph because the problem only asks us to find the magnitude of the acceleration.

We are dividing (20 m/s) / (2s). We are left with 10 m/s^2.
