17) This question asks us to find the voltage across the 4 Ohm resistor, which we will call R[4]. In problem 16, we found that the total resistance was 6 Ohms and the current through R[4] was 4 Amperes. To look at this more in depth and find out how we came up with those values, please refer to my solution for question 16. Since we already found the current through R[4] and were given the resistance through R[4], we can use Ohm's law to solve for the potential difference(voltage) across R[4].
