17) This question asks us to find the voltage across the 4 Ohm resistor, which we will call R[4]. In problem 16, we found that the total resistance was 6 Ohms and the current through R[4] was 4 Amperes. Since we already found the current through R[4] and were given the resistance through R[4], we can use Ohm's law to solve for the potential difference(voltage) across R[4].
